The gist:
With the… er, chaos that is Twitter, DeviantART, Tumblr, etc the uncertainity of social site longevity is a concern. I’ve seen countless efforts to jump ship from one platform to another. The panic and confusion that always results from it is, frankly, tiresome.
This blog is intended to remain as a social media archive that I fully control. Those who are interested in my presence may check here for art updates without the stress of social media chatter and as a fail safe in case a site goes down.
Common Categories & Tags
Categories (found at the top of posts) are umbrella terms, such as:
Art, Update, Widderwood, Travels
Tags (found at the bottom of posts) on the other hand are more specific terms within umbrella terms, such as:
Charater names (Degare, Waite, Simon, etc), Widderkin (fairies), Traditional, Ceramic, Antique, Black Dog, Fox, Soap, etc
Skip the hassle of social media.
Get live updates from me using RSS:
Hold on now, I know what you’re thinking-
It’s way easier than it seems, I swear!
To put it as simple as I can; RSS is a simple tool that will give you live updates on the sites you love and want to follow. Kind of like a social media feed but without the chatter. If you want a more in-depth explanation, here’s a helpful link.
How to follow Coyoteprince using RSS:
Sign up for an RSS reader. There’s a few you can choose from in the above link. I personally use Inoreader and will be using it as my visual example.
Click one or both of my RSS Links (found at the end of this post) to add them to your personal feed or manually search for me within your reader.
3. You can now visit your RSS reader dash to get live updates. They’ll pop up similar to a news feed.
That’s pretty much it. That simple!
